A little guide

Getting settled in.

Everything you need to find your way around our home on the web. It only takes a minute.

i.

Sign in once

Head to dashboard.mymoore.net and sign in with your Google account or the family login. One sign-in covers nearly everything — you won't be asked again as you move between apps.

If it's your first time and it says "user not synced," let whoever runs the server know — your account just needs to be added.

ii.

Find what you're looking for

The Apps page lists everything in one place — photos, movies, recipes, files. Tap a tile and it opens. That's it.

iii.

Get the apps on your phone

Most of these work beautifully as phone apps. For photos, install Immich and point it at photos.mymoore.net. For movies, install Plex. For passwords, install Bitwarden and set the server to vault.mymoore.net.

Everything else can be added to your home screen straight from the browser — open it, then choose "Add to Home Screen."

iv.

If something looks down

Check the Status page — it lives in the cloud and stays up even when the house server is resting. If everything there is red, the server is probably rebooting; give it a few minutes.

Questions families ask

Is any of this on the public internet?
It's reachable from anywhere so we can use it while travelling, but everything sits behind a sign-in and a secure tunnel. There are no ads, no trackers, and nothing is sold or shared. It's ours.
I forgot my password.
Use the Google sign-in button if your account is linked to Gmail. Otherwise, ask whoever runs the server to reset it for you in Authentik.
Can I add the grandparents?
Yes — anyone in the family can have an account. They'll need their email added once, then they can sign in with Google like everyone else.
Will my photos upload automatically?
Once you install the Immich app and turn on backup, every new photo and video uploads on its own over Wi-Fi — just like the big cloud services, but home.
